To get to the plugins on Chrome type in the address bar: chrome:plugins (and then you disable whichever ones you want or visa versa.) I keep a notepad at my desk and write the date and what I did on that day, so later on I can refer to it (because I will NEVER remember on my own what the heck I did.) I did that, because as I exited FF, I got a chrome error! I'm thinking that may be because I need to clean the old version of Java out of my programs.but I don't use Chrome, so killed it. I never use it, as it's a huge memory hog. Just for the heck of it, I went to Chrome and disabled Java and Flash there, too. 11, but they are content to keep it and are killing themselves trying everything else. When I saw they had XP, I tried to let them know of the large ram required with v. Now back to the Flash 11 version.I just left the FF forum page and there are a number of people complaining about freezing, crashing, etc. I use either Pirifoam or the Filehippo sites to download the updates, too. Btw, I NEVER use the registry tool on that, just the "as is" cleaner and love it! I've used it for years to clean up remnants of uninstalled programs left behind, temp files/cookies/history from all browsers that I have (in one cleaning).

I ran my cleaner (CCleaner) and am now going to install the last updated version of 10. So.I downloaded the uninstaller, removed it from my program list and then uninstalled with uninstaller (to be sure it's gone). So, I checked the system requirements for version 11 and it requires 512 mbs of ram!! My email was so sloooow and FF was lagging and even hung, at one point. Somehow Foxfire auto-updated me to the newest version of Adobe Flash Player.or Shockwave Flash Player version 11.
